Good news: my update on the King's Road Post Office

I’m pleased to share a positive update following our successful campaign to keep open the Post Office branch in King’s Road, Chelsea.

The Post Office has now confirmed that the branch will remain in its current location when the new franchise operator takes over, which is expected to happen shortly.

Crucially, this means local residents will continue to have easy access to the full range of services. I also understand that opening hours are expected to be extended.

More than 1,500 people signed my petition to protect this vital branch, and I want to thank everyone who supported the campaign and made their voices heard. Together, we made the case to Post Office management and ministers, and I’m delighted we secured this outcome for our area.

I look forward to meeting the new operators soon and will continue to keep you updated.
